KCC4 Antibody (A304-442A) in WB
Detection of human KCC4 by western blot of immunoprecipitates. Samples: Whole cell lysate (1 mg for IP; 20% of IP loaded) prepared using NETN buffer from Jurkat cells. Antibodies: Affinity purified rabbit anti-KCC4 antibody A304-442A (lot A304-442A-1) used for IP at 6 µg per reaction. KCC4 was also immunoprecipitated by rabbit anti-KCC4 antibody A304-443A. For blotting immunoprecipitated KCC4, A304-442A was used at 0.4 µg/ml. Detection: Chemiluminescence with an exposure time of 30 seconds.

Target Information
Mediates electroneutral potassium-chloride cotransport when activated by cell swelling. May mediate K(+) uptake into Deiters' cells in the cochlea and contribute to K(+) recycling in the inner ear. Important for the survival of cochlear outer and inner hair cells and the maintenance of the organ of Corti. May be required for basolateral Cl(-) extrusion in the kidney and contribute to renal acidification. [UniProt]
