To search for BLOCK-iT™ RNAi products by gene symbol, accession number, or other identifiers, click on the Search by ID/Keyword link.
In Step 1, select one or more checkboxes to specify the BLOCK-iT™ RNAi products that you want to search for. See the specification chart for information about each type of BLOCK-iT™ RNAi product.
Note that you can browse through all BLOCK-iT™ Pol II miR Validated miRNA Vector DuoPaks by clicking on the Browse miR Vectors link.
In Step 2, select the search criteria from the Search by dropdown list:
Gene Symbol — The official name or symbol of the gene of interest, or an alternative symbol (e.g., GAPD or GAPDH for Homo sapiens glyceraldehyde-3-phosphate dehydrogenase).
Accession Number — The RefSeq accession number for the gene of interest. Note that the accession number must be in RefSeq format (e.g., NM_002046 for Homo sapiens glyceraldehyde-3-phosphate dehydrogenase).
Keyword — A keyword can be any word in the gene description in public database records for the primary accession number. Keywords are also taken from the summary description of the gene in LocusLink.
Gene ID — The Entrez Gene ID for the gene of interest.
UniGene ID — The UniGene cluster ID for the gene of interest.
Catalog number — The Invitrogen catalog number/oligo ID number for the BLOCK-iT™ RNAi product.
Then enter the specific search term(s) in the Enter Text Here field. Make sure that all your search terms match the criteria you selected. Search terms are not case-sensitive.
Note: If you are unsure of a search term, or want to search multiple genes of interest, you can enter multiple search terms in the field. The terms must be separated by commas, spaces, or line returns.
When you have entered your search parameters, click on Submit. The Results Page will open.
